Declan Gourley is a Partner at Lois LLC. Declan is licensed to practice law in New Jersey, New York and the U.S. District Court of New Jersey. Declan concentrates on New York Workers’ Compensation Defense; representing insurance companies and self-insured employers before the New York Workers’ Compensation Board. He regularly attends hearings at the following hearing points: Hudson, Newburgh (New Windsor), New City, Menands, Poughkeepsie, and White Plains.
Prior to joining Lois LLC, Declan worked for an insurance defense firm where he focused on workers’ compensation matters. Declan previously worked for a disability law firm representing claimants applying for Social Security Disability Benefits and various disability retirement pension programs for New Jersey state employees. Declan is the author of a book on Social Security Disability benefits.
Declan also has experience in assisting former National Football League (NFL) Players apply for disability retirement benefits through the Bert Bell/Pete Rozelle NFL Player Retirement Plan.
